The Lighthouse Beacon is the web newsletter of Lighthouse Bible Church. We are the central means of communication on the website for Lighthouse Bible Church. This is where the pastors and elders write their weekly messages to the church. This is where ministries highlight their goals and needs. This is where the staff of the newsletter posts articles to inform, edify, and encourage. At the end of the day, were just a 21st century means of promoting what Paul talks about in Ephesians 4.
If you desire to serve the church body in the Beacon, please let us know. We can always use faithful servants that enjoy writing for the Beacon and/or serving the ministry in administrative tasks. If you are a member, please contact Stephen Rodgers at stephen.d.rodgers@gmail.com.

Contact: Stephen RodgersWhen the printer has a jam...who are you going to call? When it's late at night and you didn't save your work from a crash...who are you going to call? Well, there is little we could do to recover a document from a system crash, other than tell you should have saved your work.
I'm John Yi (johnyi@lighthousebc.com), a member of the NA-Team, that is, the Network Administrator team. Although computers and networks have enhanced our ministry in productivity and capability, they are far from the maintenance free refrigerators and microwaves of our kitchen. We may expect them to work all the time, but in reality they don't. Our team is available to assure you that your computer really isn't possessed and help resolve IT issues so that you can remain productive in your area of service.
We also maintain our church network, striving to remain up-to-date in the rapidly changing world of technology. If you have any experience in this area and are available to help in anyway or have suggestions on how to make things better, please shoot us an email.
Prerequisites for serving: member of LBC, and know something about computers and networks.
Staff: John Yi, Hansol An, Dennis Su, Chris Tou
The first thing you might notice about the LBC web team is there is no web master. This is because we are all here to serve one master, our Lord Jesus Christ, even in cyberspace. The main goal of the web team is to provide an easy place to find out what is going on and catch up on the latest sermons, for those attending the church and visitors interested in what goes on at LBC. In fact, many have come to learn about LBC through the website.
There are several aspects to the Webservant Ministry: web page design and maintenance, data base management, account management, and e-mail forward and mailing list management. These tasks require two types of people:
1. People who like to write and would like to help keep the site updated with announcements, descriptions of LBC events and other informational articles.
2. People who are web savvy and are interested in helping expand the features of the site.
We ask that you be a member of LBC to be on the web team. If you have any questions about joining the web team, if you need something web related or about the content on the site please contact Kyle Grindley(kylegrindley@lighthousebc.com)
The Video Ministry is the video ministry that regularly records Lighthouse-related events for the church to view. Some of the Video Ministry functions include recording new videos to highlight upcoming events, recording the actual events, and so forth. If you are interested in joining the team, have questions or would like to use the team for an event please feel free to contact me or any other team members.
