Well, it’s Friday again, and that means that I’m back with another round of links for you. I’m still catching up from a rather unfortunate Google Reader implosion, but never fear, I’ve got your fix:
- Last week I mentioned that the audio/video were available from the Desiring God National Conference. (By the way, go check those out if you missed them). Well, they’ve updated their page with the seminars from Tullian Tchividjian, Kevin Deyoung, and Randy Alcorn. (AUDIO/VIDEO)
- Over at the recently re-designed (not a fan) Resurgence (totally a fan), Jared Wilson has a fantastic article on the heart of the Gospel. It’s called “Get to Work” vs. “It is Finished” and if you haven’t read it yet, I commend it to you. (WEB)
- Peacemaker Ministries (the folks behind the Peacemaker Pledge that we use at church) have an interesting article on the “Seven Characteristics of the Most Forgiving People in the World.” It’s just a bullet-point list, but it’s dense on theological insight. (WEB)
- If you still are looking for some MP3 goodness, then you should know that The Ocean City Bible Conference this year (theme: “Living the God-Centered Life”) has posted four of their messages for free. Normally I’m an all-or-nothing kind of guy, but since the free speakers are Thabiti Anyabwile, Phil Johnson, and Paul Tripp…I will gladly make an exception. (AUDIO)
- Speaking of Paul Tripp…Love Warns, Love Rebukes. Go. Read. Now. You won’t regret it. (WEB)
- Since I’m in the Single’s Ministry I have a bit of a heart for that particular affinity group and its particular set of concerns and frustrations. So when I came across this “Letter to a (Frustrated) Single Young Man” and the corresponding “Letter to a (Frustrated) Single Young Woman” I thought I’d pass them on. (WEB)
- True. (WEB)
Well, that’s all I have right now. I’ll see you again next Friday with another set, and hopefully I’ll see you at the Lord’s house on the Lord’s day before then.
