Alright, it’s the first WL of the month, which means that we’re loaded for bear when it comes to free resources.  Since it’s only the second day of the month, we may need to do a follow-up post to highlight any resources that aren’t available yet, but meanwhile, here’s what is available.

• The free audio book of the month is Evangelism and the Sovereignty of God by JI Packer. Get this, Get This, GET THIS.
• The free logos resource for May is 300 Quotations for Preachers from the Puritans.
• The new edition of Tabletalk is out, and the topic is What’s So New About the New Covenant?
• There’s also a new edition of Themelios available. Don’t let the length put you off; there are often some really great gems to be mined in terms of the articles.
• Also, Credo Magazine has a new issue out entitled “Churchy Gimmicks.” It pulls no punches in addressing the consumerism that’s is infiltrating American churches.
• Last but not least, Albert Mohler and many of the faculty at SBTS have released a free ebook: God, the Gospel, and the Gay Challenge – A Response ot Matthew Vines. If you’re not familiar with Mr. Vines, he’s a homosexual apologist who argues that the Bible doesn’t actually prohibit or condemn monogamous homosexual relationships. Dr. Mohler et. all do a good job of demolishing that argument.

There are a few other resources that aren’t new per se, but should be of interest to many of the folks at LBC:

• Easter is behind us now, but in case you missed it, Triablogue has updated their list of Easter apologetic resources. For discussions on the gospel accounts, the resurrection, and many other aspects of Easter, you’ll want to check that out.
• Also, a number of Vern Poythress’ books and articles have now been translated into Korean and are available for free: A Christian Approach to Mathematics, A Christian Approach to Physics and Chemistry, and Christian Interpretations of Genesis 1.
