If you were thinking of adding an audio Bible to your life, it&#8217;s kind of hard to beat free.<\/li>\n<li>The free monthly resource from Logos is\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.logos.com\/free-book-of-the-month\">The JPS Torah Commentary: Exodus<\/a><\/em> by\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\">Nahum M. Sarna. Beyond the fact that it exists, I can&#8217;t tell you much about it, but there it is.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The January 2016 issue of Tabletalk magazine is on the topic of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ligonier.org\/blog\/columns-tabletalk-magazine-january-2016\/\" class=\"broken_link\">Apologetics.<\/a>\u00a0In case you&#8217;re on the fence about Tabletalk, here&#8217;s a link to their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ligonier.org\/blog\/best-2015-tabletalk-magazine\/\" class=\"broken_link\">&#8220;best of 2015&#8221; collection.<\/a> You really should check it out if you haven&#8217;t already.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s also a new issue of CredoMag on the topic of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.credomag.com\/2015\/11\/23\/new-issue-the-prince-of-puritans-john-owen\/\">John Owen.<\/a> And if you&#8217;re looking to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.credomag.com\/2015\/12\/09\/catch-up-on-past-issues-of-credo-magazine\/\">catch up on past issues,<\/a> you can do that as well.<\/li>\n<li>And last but not least, issue <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegospelcoalition.org\/article\/themelios-40.3#When:06:02:00Z\">40.3 of Themelios<\/a> is out; if you&#8217;re not sure where to start, I particularly liked Rob Smith&#8217;s article on <a href=\"http:\/\/themelios.thegospelcoalition.org\/article\/the-amorality-of-atheism\">&#8220;The Amorality of Atheism.&#8221;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alright; so that takes care of the new-and-free-in-January-2016 category. Let&#8217;s change the subject slightly. New calendar years often bring resolutions and resolve to read the Bible more earnestly or consistently, so let&#8217;s talk about that.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First of all, you might be surprised to learn that we have a whole section on the Recommended Resources page devoted to <a href=\"http:\/\/lighthousebc.com\/beacon\/2011\/01\/07\/recommended-resources\/#Bible-Reading Plans\">Bible Reading Plans.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>On top of that, every year a few of the big Christian blogs put out posts or resources on the topic of daily Bible-reading, and 2016 is no exception.
