All of them are worth the time it takes to read and reflect on them:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20100807214945\/http:\/\/www.desiringgod.org:80\/Blog\/2574_the_local_church_for_your_perseverance\/\">For Your Perseverance<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20100808011723\/http:\/\/www.desiringgod.org:80\/Blog\/2577_the_local_church_training_you_for_ministry\/\">Training You for Ministry<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.churchleaders.com\/pastors\/pastor-blogs\/144059-the-local-church-helping-you-grow-up.html\" class=\"broken_link\">Helping You Grow Up<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.churchleaders.com\/pastors\/pastor-blogs\/144105-the-local-church-people-to-suffer-with.html\" class=\"broken_link\">People to Suffer With<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.churchleaders.com\/pastors\/pastor-blogs\/144136-the-local-church-people-to-rejoice-with.html\" class=\"broken_link\">People to Rejoice With<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.churchleaders.com\/pastors\/pastor-blogs\/144137-the-local-church-a-safe-place-to-be-judged.html\" class=\"broken_link\">A Safe Place to be Judged<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.churchleaders.com\/pastors\/pastor-blogs\/144159-the-local-church-indispensable.html\" class=\"broken_link\">Indispensable<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ethnicity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Switching gears a bit, the Mars Hill Church blog has been doing a series that explores various aspects of Biblical manhood, and they posted a couple of articles that caught my eye because they specifically addressed Christianity from an Asian-American perspective.  The first article dealt with comparing and contrasting the teachings of <a href=\"http:\/\/marshill.com\/2010\/08\/08\/balancing-christ-and-confucius\/\" class=\"broken_link\">Christ and Confucius<\/a>.  (That&#8217;s probably going to appeal more to the folks of Chinese descent in our congregation, and might help in talking with unsaved family members).  The second article posed <a href=\"http:\/\/marshill.com\/2010\/08\/09\/10-questions-for-the-asian-american-christian-man\/\" class=\"broken_link\">ten questions for the Asian Christian man<\/a>, relating to particular challenges that come up in that heritage or family background.<\/p>\n<p>Let me know if either of those were useful.  A while back, we covered desiringGod launching their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.desiringgod.org\/all-resources\/by-language\/chinese-simplified\" class=\"broken_link\">Chinese website<\/a> (complete with many Piper articles in Chinese).  I know that many folks in our church are on the lookout for good resources for unbelieving family members, or good non-English resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Randy Alcorn<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And last up, we have two more videos with Randy Alcorn for you.
