{"id":3258,"date":"2011-06-15T01:00:13","date_gmt":"2011-06-15T09:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lighthousebc.com\/beacon\/?p=3258"},"modified":"2017-09-05T18:09:53","modified_gmt":"2017-09-06T01:09:53","slug":"peacemaker-conclusion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lighthousebc.com\/beacon\/2011\/06\/15\/peacemaker-conclusion\/","title":{"rendered":"Peacemaker: Conclusion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>by Stephen Rodgers<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Since our series on the <em>Peacemaker<\/em> has come to an end, I wanted to briefly cap it off with some links to related resources. \u00a0For those of you who found this series helpful, this would be a great jumping off point to dive deeper into the subject matter.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obviously, there&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lighthousebc.com\/beacon\/?cat=108\">series here on the Beacon.<\/a> Cesar did a great job summarizing and outlining the chapters for everyone, and he took the series on short notice. \u00a0Make sure you give him a high-five the next time you see him.<\/li>\n<li>On top of that, there&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/lighthousebc.com\/sermons\/feed\/podcast\/\" class=\"broken_link\">audio of the messages<\/a> that were taught in the second-hour Sunday School, as well as the <a href=\"http:\/\/lighthousebc.com\/sermons\/feed\/podcast\/\" class=\"broken_link\">Peacemaking for Families messages<\/a> that the Grace Life group went through.<\/li>\n<li>Peacemaker Ministries also maintains a website where they make available some of the more <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peacemaker.net\/site\/c.aqKFLTOBIpH\/b.958145\/k.7ECF\/Foundational_Principles.htm\" class=\"broken_link\">fundamental sections of the book.<\/a> You can find everything from the &#8220;Four G&#8217;s&#8221; to the &#8220;Seven A&#8217;s&#8221; in there.<\/li>\n<li>For those seeking a broader view, they also have a section of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peacemaker.net\/site\/c.aqKFLTOBIpH\/b.958163\/k.AD04\/Key_Articles.htm\" class=\"broken_link\">key articles<\/a> which have been published since the book, and focus on specific areas.<\/li>\n<li>And if you still want more, they also maintain a <a href=\"http:\/\/bookstore.peacemaker.net\/blog\/\" class=\"broken_link\">blog<\/a> which is updated several times a week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In conclusion, I would also point out that the <em>Peacemaker<\/em> falls under the general category of what is known as &#8220;Biblical Counseling,&#8221; and if you&#8217;re seeking more material on that subject, either the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccef.org\/blog\">CCEF blog<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblicalcounselingcoalition.org\/resources3\/\" class=\"broken_link\">BCC blog<\/a> would be great places to start.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks again for reading.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by Stephen Rodgers Since our series on the Peacemaker has come to an end, I wanted to briefly cap it off with some links to related resources. \u00a0For those of you who found this series helpful, this would be a great jumping off point to dive deeper into the subject matter.
