(Russell Moore,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.russellmoore.com\/2012\/01\/02\/the-next-billy-graham-might-be-drunk-right-now\/\">&#8220;The Next Billy Graham Might Be Drunk Right Now&#8221;<\/a>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>by Stephen Rodgers<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Welcome to the first weekly links of 2012! \u00a0I hope you saw the article Monday about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lighthousebc.com\/beacon\/?p=3897\">Hub Post Directory<\/a>; if not, now&#8217;s a great time to check it out!<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, here&#8217;s a list of links for you from outside LBC&#8230;let&#8217;s start out with some new free resources:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The latest edition of the 9Marks eJournal is an issue on t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.9marks.org\/journal\/dont-be-too-cool-sunday-school\">he importance of Sunday School.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The January edition of Tabletalk is out, entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ligonier.org\/blog\/columns-tabletalk-magazine-january-2012\/\" class=\"broken_link\">The Apocalypse of John;<\/a> it focuses on various issues related to the book of Revelation.<\/li>\n<li>And the latest issue of CredoMag just came out, entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.credomag.com\/the-magazine\/archives\/francis-schaeffer-at-100\/\">&#8220;In Christ Alone;&#8221; <\/a>it argues for the exclusivity of the Gospel.<\/li>\n<li>Last but not least, this month&#8217;s free resource from christianaudio.com is JI Packer&#8217;s classic <em><a href=\"http:\/\/christianaudio.com\/knowing-god-j-i-packer\" class=\"broken_link\">Knowing God.<\/a><\/em> You definitely don&#8217;t want to miss that free download!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also, since it&#8217;s 2012 now, a number of people will be starting new Bible-reading plans. \u00a0And on that topic&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hopefully you&#8217;re already aware that we have a section of our Recommended Resources page devoted to the subject of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lighthousebc.com\/beacon\/?p=2561#Bible-Reading Plans\">Bible-Reading Plans.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>In addition to those, Justin Taylor recently posted an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegospelcoalition.org\/blogs\/justintaylor\/2011\/12\/27\/bible-reading-plans-for-2012\/\">updated list of plans,<\/a> as did Nathan Bingham <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ligonier.org\/blog\/bible-reading-plans\/\">over at Ligonier Ministries.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re still trying to pick a plan, Dan Philips has an article on <a href=\"http:\/\/teampyro.blogspot.com\/2011\/12\/bible-reading-for-2012-and-why.html\">the importance of having a plan,<\/a> and Tim Challies <a href=\"http:\/\/www.challies.com\/articles\/the-3650-challenge\">makes a case for Grant Horner&#8217;s system.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And last but not least, for something else to think about&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This week&#8217;s quote was brought to you from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.russellmoore.com\/2012\/01\/02\/the-next-billy-graham-might-be-drunk-right-now\/\">an article by Russell Moore,<\/a> who recounts a conversation he once had with Carl F.
