Over at the Pyromaniacs teamblog, Phil Johnson started by declaring his intention to show that Biblically, <a href=\"http:\/\/teampyro.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/is-gambling-ok-dont-bet-on-it.html\">gambling is a sin<\/a>.  He followed that by <a href=\"http:\/\/teampyro.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/gambling-some-definitions-and.html\">defining his terms<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/teampyro.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/answering-couple-of-objections.html\">answering some common objections<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/teampyro.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/oh-and-one-more-thing.html\">clarifying an economic myth<\/a>.  And that series isn&#8217;t done yet, so keep checking back to see how he finishes the series.  Kevin DeYoung also dealt with this issue this week, although his focus was more on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegospelcoalition.org\/blogs\/kevindeyoung\/2009\/11\/17\/one-armed-bandits\/\">broader implications to society and the local community<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of the Reverend DeYoung, apparently he is now <a href=\"http:\/\/9marks.org\/by-author\/kevin-deyoung\/\">blogging over at the 9Marks blog from time to time<\/a>.  That makes me happy.<\/li>\n<li>Mark Driscoll continues his interview of RC Sproul, addressing the question of <a href=\"http:\/\/theresurgence.com\/2009\/11\/16\/does-god-really-want-all-people-to-be-saved\">&#8220;Does God really want all people to be saved?&#8221;<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The Stand to Reason blog has a very interesting post clarifying how <a href=\"http:\/\/str.typepad.com\/weblog\/2009\/11\/defending-the-prolife-view-just-takes-a-little-dancing.html\" class=\"broken_link\">pro-choice arguments generally fall into two untenable categories<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>A few more reminders: <a href=\"http:\/\/gospeldrivenchurch.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/tim-keller-on-wonders-of-gospel.html\">being Gospel-centered is not a bad thing<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gospeldrivenchurch.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/gospel-is-power.html\">the Gospel is power<\/a>, and a <em>very <\/em>brief reminder on <a href=\"http:\/\/gospeldrivenchurch.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/why-im-committed-to-tunnel-vision-about.html\">early Gospel-centered preaching<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Continuing on the theme of thankfulness, DJP writes about <a href=\"http:\/\/teampyro.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/thanks-for-uni-verse-thanks-from.html\">being thankful for the universe<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/teampyro.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/grateful-for-revealed-creatorcreation.html\">being thankful that God is God<\/a>.  And since we&#8217;re on the topic, reading this article may cause you to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.credenda.org\/index.php\/Church\/ministry-to-death-ministry-of-life.html\">be thankful for your pastors as well.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>And last but not least, let&#8217;s take a look at living the Christian life for a moment.  In particular, Kevin DeYoung reminds us <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegospelcoalition.org\/blogs\/kevindeyoung\/2009\/11\/19\/433\/\">to be careful how we pray<\/a>.  Jared Wilson reminds us that <a href=\"http:\/\/gospeldrivenchurch.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/do-not-go-quietly.html\">living the Christian life properly is never subtle<\/a>.  John Piper talks about strategies <a href=\"http:\/\/www.desiringgod.org\/blog\/posts\/when-you-dont-want-to-do-what-you-ought-to\" class=\"broken_link\">for doing what you ought to do, even when you don&#8217;t want to<\/a>.
