I hope your weeks have been filled with opportunities to shine Christ brightly, wherever you are! Here are the links that I hope will be of help to you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood blog has <a href=\"http:\/\/cbmw.org\/men\/manhood\/manhood-and-technology-introducing-a-new-series\/\" class=\"broken_link\">begun<\/a> a series of posts entitled, &#8216;Manhood and Technology,&#8217; addressing the interactions between our use of technology and how it relates to biblical manhood. The posts thus far have addressed the use of <a href=\"http:\/\/cbmw.org\/men\/manhood\/two-views-of-smartphones\/\" class=\"broken_link\">smartphones<\/a>, why one man has <a href=\"http:\/\/cbmw.org\/men\/manhood\/why-i-kissed-social-media-goodbye\/\" class=\"broken_link\">kissed social media goodbye<\/a>, and how <a href=\"http:\/\/cbmw.org\/men\/manhood\/brothers-do-not-be-overcome\/\" class=\"broken_link\">not to be overcome<\/a> by the use of technology. Knowing our church culture, it would be wise for the men (and even the ladies) to take an interest in this series. Have you had a heart check recently on your use of technology?<\/li>\n<li>Andy Snider has written a <a href=\"http:\/\/theologyislife.com\/2014\/01\/20\/shame-on-all-of-us-even-him\/\">very good post<\/a> about the temptation to post the sins of others on social media. Is it a good idea to do so? He responds to the five common justifications for it.<\/li>\n<li>What does good, effective accountability look like? Tim Challies provides some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.challies.com\/articles\/how-to-make-accountability-work\">helpful material<\/a> from Heath Lambert&#8217;s book\u00a0<em>Finally Free.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Paul Tripp has a devotional posted every Wednesday on his site and newsletter, which I would highly recommend everyone <a href=\"http:\/\/paultripp.com\/subscribe\/\" class=\"broken_link\">subscribe to<\/a>. He just posted the <a href=\"http:\/\/paultripp.com\/what-i-like\/posts\/reflections-on-relationships\" class=\"broken_link\">last installment<\/a> of a series that runs very closely in line with his co-authored book,\u00a0<em>Relationships: A Mess Worth Making<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Where is the frontline of the pro-life movement? Brent Aucoin argues <a href=\"http:\/\/www.desiringgod.org\/articles\/the-frontlines-of-the-pro-life-movement\" class=\"broken_link\">crisis pregnancy centers<\/a> is where the arms of the church are currently engaged. He also makes a historical connection that is worth reading.<\/li>\n<li>For those who do not know much about the\u00a0<em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> decision, here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegospelcoalition.org\/article\/9-things-you-should-know-about-roe-v-wade\/\">9 facts<\/a> about it, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegospelcoalition.org\/article\/9-more-things-you-should-know-about-roe-v-wade\/\">9 more<\/a>. Here are <a href=\"http:\/\/headhearthand.org\/blog\/2014\/01\/22\/top-60-online-resources-on-abortion\/\">60 online resources<\/a> concerning abortion, and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegospelcoalition.org\/blogs\/justintaylor\/2014\/01\/22\/a-conversation-on-abortion-and-the-gospel-francis-chan-and-john-piper-talk-with-john-ensor\/\">recent discussion about abortion<\/a> between John Ensor, Francis Chan, and John Piper (warning for the last link: there are graphic images played in the video).<\/li>\n<li>Westminster Theological Seminary did some brief posts regarding abortion from their faculty in their News and Updates section. Do you know what\u00a0<em>your<\/em> worldview is? RTS Professor James N. Anderson has begun a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crossway.org\/blog\/2014\/01\/what-in-the-world-is-a-worldview-2\/\">new series<\/a> helping us answer these questions and more. The material comes from a new book of his called\u00a0<em>What&#8217;s Your Worldview? An Interactive Approach to Life&#8217;s Big Questions<\/em>\u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/static.crossway.org\/excerpt\/whats-your-worldview\/whats-your-worldview.pdf\">excerpt<\/a>), which is done in the same format as the &#8220;Choose Your Own Adventure&#8221; stories. Make sure to check out his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crossway.org\/group\/worldview\">recommended list<\/a> of books related to the Christian, as well as non-Christian, worldviews.<\/li>\n<li>Ravi Zacharias has a thoughtful post on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rzim.org\/a-slice-of-infinity\/god-and-pain\/\" class=\"broken_link\">God, pain, and the irrationality<\/a> of those who object to evil without the moral foundation to bring the objection up in the first place. Simple, yet clear and inviting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I hope this week has been a blessed week for all of you, and that there have been many opportunities to pray for one another and for the lost.
