Fundamental Truth Verses
This memory verse plan alternates between the key themes of the Fundamentals of the Faith class and attributes of God. Half of the verses are taken from the FOF book corresponding with each FOF lesson. When we teach these verses we will teach a few of the points of the FOF lesson. Parents can opt to go into greater depth with the child at home and can use their FOF book as a guide. The other half are verses to go into more detail on lesson 3 in the FOF book, “The Attributes of God.” We will camp on each verse for 3 weeks to give us ample time to convey the meaning of each passage to the children.
We use different tools for teaching the verse during class. We teach motions that go will each verse. We will also be implementing memory verse picture books. The children seem to respond well to stories presented as picture books, we will try to tap into this when teaching the verse. Links to the motions and any other teaching resources will be posted here as soon as they are available.
