Randy & Elaine Sarmiento

Randy: Shepherding Staff
Hello my name is Randy.  I was born and raised in Houston, Tx, But ended up here in San Diego via the Navy. I found out about LBC at the end of 2004, through my old pastor in Houston. In the beginning for about a year and a half, I was in and out of the church, but after a while the Holy Spirit worked in my heart to commit  to this Gospel centered church.  Ever since have been going and growing. Here, at Lighthouse, is also where I met my loving wife Elaine and now we have a wonderful 1 year old baby girl, that continues to curiously roam the church. Her name is Charlotte.  We call her Charlee – pronounced like Sharlee. Truly God has blessed me with a wonderful family and a loving church family as well … I dont deserve anything, but Praise God for His loving kindness who Gives life abundantly. I will always and forever will I be a Bondservant of Christ.

Elaine: Admin Staff
After graduating nursing school I was contemplating about moving back to san diego and wanted to find a church where I could be plugged into. It happened so that my friend knew of a church named lighthouse and knew the location and told me about it. I checked out the church and liked that the church had great teaching, friendly people, and accountability. I have been here ever since! Undeservingly that is where I met my wonderful husband Randy. I joined single staff in hopes to encourage others to continue keeping their eyes on Christ.
