We didn\u2019t have to look<br \/>\nanywhere else after our first Sunday at LBC. Patrick\u2019s Biblical teaching and the member&#8217;s genuine love towards one another quickly convinced us that Lighthouse was a church for us. This is going to be our first year at Singles and I\u2019m looking forward getting to know\u00a0single men and growing in Christ together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Hobbies: reading, nature like activities (hiking, hunting), technology.<\/li>\n<li>Favorite Christian book: Trusting God by Jerry Bridges.<\/li>\n<li>Favorite Bible Verse: book of Ecclesiastes, \u201cAll is vanity and\u00a0Striving after wind\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Marina:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Before moving to San Diego last year I found the LBC website and\u00a0checked it out. Reading about different ministries, seeing pictures\u00a0and learning about Lighthouse mission and decision, I wanted to become\u00a0a part of that church. Our first Sunday here was everything we hoped for; there was no reason to look for other churches. The fact that\u00a0Patrick and some other guys came over and helped us on our moving day,\u00a0showed me that people at LBC had a heart for service. I\u2019m looking\u00a0forward to developing new relationships with single ladies at church.\u00a0I hope we can serve each other and grow together for the glory of God.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;font-style: normal;line-height: 24px\">Hobbies: music, photography, anything crafty. I also love reading and\u00a0<\/span>experiencing new things (like new foods!)<\/li>\n<li>Favorite Christian book: Holiness by J.C.
